Description
"Adele" was the first paper doll that the Delineator featured in the February 1912 issue (reason for all the hearts with the doll), followed by Adele's Party Dress in March 1912 and then Adele's Easter Suit in April. These are Carolyn Chester's Round based Paper Dolls, created to stand on their own and show front and back features. BEAUTIFUL art went into all of these!!!These ARE reproductions of the original antiques. I sold my original Adele and her party dress and regretted it because I never got a copy. Recently I found another original of Adele, her party dress and the Easter suit which have been sold. I took those to Staples and had them do laser copies on cardstock and the sheets measure 17 inches x 11 inches. I wanted a set that I could cut out and enjoy. Yes, 67 years old and STILL play with my paper dolls!! Anyway, I thought someone else might like to do the same so I'm offering to sell the other sets I had reproduced There was a water mark on my original Adele doll that shows on this copy. My photos don't do justice to the beautiful colors.
All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates and from other homes. I do not know the type of storage history. My collection is kept in a smoke/pet/people free area of my home. with a dehumidifier running 24/7.
I only ship to the USA Because of the size of the sheets and they need to be shipped flat, I had to increase my shipping cost of this item a little.
