    Description

    Old Vintage Shovel Hickory Split Handle (Antique). There are no brand markings for the shovel head. What I could find is that the indentation the shovel is on purpose and was made that way. The patent number on the handle is dated back to 1932. This shovel is handmade. The most interesting part about this shovel is its handle which is hickory. The wood is split in half and comes back together at another piece of hickory held together by two metal plates.
