NAKINA ONTARIO Canada Topographic Map: Dept Mines & Resources Surveyor
circa. 1970s  Gentleman's estate item; I think prime interest for him was
Thunder Bay.
Canadian National Topographic Series Map from the Map Distribution Office,
Department of Mines and Resources, Ottawa, Canada.
This print received directly from that Department was printed circa
1970s.  I have 3 of these maps to put on auction/sale: 2 printed as blue
ink on somewhat creamy background, and one gray/black print on cream.
Maps measure 23" wide x 22" high  (the width is just a tad less than 23")
Scale is 4 miles = 1 inch
Folded and maintained in a file drawer all these years; no odors from
pet-free household.  No rips nor tears or dog-ears.  There is, however, a narrow
1/2" wide vertical blank stripe about 2" to the right of the left edge, which appears
to be a print machine error as it appears on all three copies.  It actually gives
them a little added rustic cache'.  Listing as New since there is no real evidence of
being 'used' as one would think of a map being man-handled, twisted, etc. like a
road map would be.
Maps would be great wall decor mounted on flat board or in a frame for
a family or mancave room.  Or stunning on a Library wall.
Will be mailed folded / flat just as it has remained in storage over 40 years in a file folder.
First two sales will be the blue-scale, 3rd sale the gray black&white scale print.
