This large size Gemstone Chakra Tree stands over 9" tall and is made of approximately 300 natural stones, each of which has been tumbled smooth, and then carefully drilled and wired together to form the tree.
The tree is divided into seven distinct sections, each corresponding to one of the seven chakras. ("Chakra" literally means “wheel” in Sanskrit, and the seven chakras are believed to be the main energy centers in our bodies. Gemstones such as these are said to help align and balance these energy centers, permitting energy to flow from one part of the body to another, thus creating a sense of physical, emotional and spiritual balance.)
From the bottom up, the stones in this tree are: 1.) Red Jasper, which corresponds to the root or base chakra; 2.) Carnelian, for the sacral chakra; 3.) Yellow Aventurine, for the navel or solar plexus chakra; 4.) Green Aventurine, for the heart chakra; 5.) Clear Quartz Crystal, for the throat or neck chakra; 6.) Lapis Lazuli, for the third eye chakra; 7.) Amethyst, for the crown chakra.
The branches are made of flexible wire, so you can adjust and form the tree as you desire. When you receive it, the branches are somewhat compacted together, and will need to be separated and arranged, similar to the way a Christmas tree needs to be shaped and fluffed out when unwrapped. After you've shaped the tree, it will be uniquely yours, designed and formed as you wish. These photos are of two different trees, one arranged with the branches lifted upwards, like a fir tree, and the other with the branches curved slightly downward, like a full oak tree. The trees are rotated in the photos to show the view from different angles.
The wooden base is approx. 2-1/2" across, and is topped with scores of colorful gemstone chips. As mentioned, this tree stands 9" high, and is approx. 6" wide, and comes with a card that details the different stones and the chakras they relate to.
