    Description

    Küng Meisterstück Alto — ebony with ivory beak. Case included. Bought 1966 or 1967, from Hargail Music, NY. Küng’s Meisterstück line has been supplanted by their Superio line. This instrument is very responsive, with a strong tone throughout its range. This recorder came with a clear lacquer finish. The mottled areas are where some of the lacquer is worn off. The corks were professionally replaced with thread to make the recorder more authentic since that was what was used on the instruments originally.
