On the urban foreground or in the wild land firefighting interface, heat stress is a condition caused by physical exertion in the heated environment. Active cooling and early rehab combats the effects from heat stress which can lead to exhaustion, mental confusion, disorientation, dehydration, loss of consciousness, heart attack, stroke and other serious medical conditions. The items in the Rehab Bucket® meet the requirements of the NFPA 1584 Standard for controlled active cooling measures during incident rehab and can be activated with seconds, just add water! This Bucket contains an open V-neck cooling vest that has a zipper front. Adjustable side tabs of heavy elastic and hook and loop closures are attached to ensure a snug fit. Also includes a cooling blanket, a neck cooler, and a cooling cap that fits inside the helmet or ball cap.
