For safety and convenience, it is best to have a secure mount and holder for your device in your vehicle.
Suction cup holders, however, do not always hold with changing temperatures and are not legal in all states. The cheap taped on holders typically do not stick very well to textured dash surfaces and where they do stick is often not real convenient. Many who have tried those inexpensive
vent louver holders find out they are
loose and floppy and it can become much more expensive to replace a broken vent.

vehicle mount is custom designed to fit in the location illustrated in the photos.  The mount quickly attaches securely onto the vehicle without the need to remove any panels or drill any holes. No special tools are required and instructions are provided.

cannot know, however, if your specific device will fit the location illustrated. The customer or end user has both the vehicle and device and is the best person to determine most accurately if the mount is correct for the dash and if the specific device will fit and work where the mount is shown in the photo.
The mount comes with four small pre-drilled holes in an AMPS hole pattern and can be used with other brand device holders that have an AMPS hole pattern base. While the mount comes with pre-drilled holes, a device holder can be attached anywhere onto the face of the mount. Once the device holder has been attached onto the mount or the mount has been screwed into, the mount can no longer be returned for a refund as it is considered damaged and cannot be sold again as new.

like so many of the other (light weight) magnetic holders out there! A-Tach designed this holder to hold a device

and it does!
The holder is designed for phones as well as smaller to mid-size tablets and also a device in a hard case. The holder has a strong magnetic hold to the device.
