    Description

1995-4 EARTH'S PLATES - Fractured Surface – National Geographic Map Geology Earthquakes
An illustration and study of the movement of the tectonic plates that fit together to form the outer shell of the Earth. The map-side is a world map indicating the different continents and the lines of the tectonic plates with fracture zone lines. The reverse-side deals more-specifically with the Washington, Oregon, California, and Baja California area where tectonic plates clash with resulting earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Map insets show the coastline in stages from 80 million years ago to the present. An excellent study for those interested in geology and those who live in any of the affected zones.
    Map is approximately 22” x 36”.
The National Geographic is known for it's fine maps & detailed information.
